17 Weeks

Merry Christmas, Sweet Pea! You celebrated your first Christmas season this year -- though, I'm sure next year will be more eventful for you. Your daddy and I had a very quiet holiday. The wedding was so busy and exciting, we decided to lay low this Christmas and have a nice dinner and take it easy. We ate lots of delicious food, but I have REALLY been craving artichokes! This is a special food to your family from California -- which you will learn all about! Your daddy and I also decided to make it an official family tradition for us -- Artichokes on Christmas Eve:

We also got to hear your heart beat again on 27 DEC, it was a very nice Christmas surprise. The doctor says you are developing right on schedule and our new official due date is June 1st! We're still growing:

I also have some great pictures from Christmas, because daddy got mommy a new camera! It's a fantastic camera so we are prepared to take tons of pictures when you get here.

After this week we are officially in the fifth month! Woo! In two weeks we will be getting our big 20 week ultrasound, and we are really looking forward to taking home some new snapshots of you.
