6 Weeks

Sweet Pea! What a week! This week your daddy and I have been getting used to the idea of being parents! We are so excited! Things have been sailing smoothly (but, we did have a few rough patches this week).  I fractured my foot and was in some pain for a few days. Of course, your amazing dad came to the rescue! He got up in the middle of the night (3:30 AM) to run to the local drug store to get some Tylenol for me (since this is the only medicine I can take while I am pregnant). He also went to a medical supply store (multiple times) to get an ortho-shoe (see the lovely picture below) and some crutches so I could walk around! Also, so he didn't have to keep carrying me to the bathroom!

6 Weeks Pregnant with a Fractured Foot

Once my foot healed, I started to realize how sleepy the first part of pregnancy was making me feel. I have been spending A LOT of time resting and sleeping. I have stopped drinking coffee at work, just to make sure things are extra safe for you in there. We are also following a baby website that tells us your size each week, and this week you are the size of a sweet pea! We can't wait to meet you, and we love you so much!

Your daddy has been a super-star at taking care of us. Here are a few other pictures from this week!
